Learn how to weave with me at the Fashion Institute in NYC

This past January I started teaching at the Fashion Institute in the Continuing Ed. and Professional Studies department. Have you ever wanted to make your own woven potholder but just didn't have the time?  Well now you have the chance. And it feels good to step away from the phone and computer. I have one more session before the summer starts where you can learn how to weave and turn your potholders into a small rug.

In 3 three hour sessions you will learn a variety of weaves including the plain weave, basket weave and infinite weave. You then will learn how to stitch these together into a perfectly welcoming rug. You can put it in your kitchen, bathroom or at your bedside.

Sessions start May 26th at 6:30. Visit this link to join https://continuinged.fitnyc.edu/search/publicCourseSearchDetails.do?method=load&courseId=4291442&selectedProgramAreaId=1025467&selectedProgramStreamId=1026654

The Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) is conveniently located right off the 2,3 train in Manhattan at 28th St and 7th Ave and a few blocks from Penn Station.

Hope to see you!

Tracey
